We are approaching the first Gramd Slam of the year, the Australian Open that kicks off on January 17th. In this tournament the best tennis players in the world will play, including Serbian Novak Djokovic, who seeks to win his 21st title and surpass Federer and Nadal.
However, Djokovic had trouble entering Australia because he has not been vaccinated against COVID-19. The Serbian tennis player's team requested a visa for him to play in the tournament, but by mistake he was trapped at Melbourne's Tullamarine airport.
The Australian government said it would only allow Djokovic to participate in the tournament if it complies with its strict sanitary regulations due to the pandemic. It's certainly not a good start to Djokovic's season.
