Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar lost the lead of the Tour de France after finishing stage 11 of the world's most famous cycling race. After several days of dominating the race, Pogacar lost to Jonas Vingegaard in one of the toughest mountain stages of the Tour.

Vingegaard and his team's attack, the Jumbo Visma, started midway through the race when he separated Tadej from his team. Some of the favorites to win the tour stuck together on the mountain.

Pogacar kept pace with his competitors until there were 5 kilometers left to finish the race. There, against all odds, Vingegaard began to accelerate. Pogacar did not have the strength to follow him, so he lost several minutes and fell to third place in the general classification. There are still many races to go and nothing is defined in cycling, but without a doubt, this was a very exciting and surprising stage.
