The most in-demand youngster in this transfer window, Dominik Szoboszlai, has finally decided his future. He rejected Arsenal and some other top teams such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The 20-year old Hungarian eventually picks over the branch of RB Salzburg, his current team, RB Leipzig. Both teams are in progress of negotiating the process, which is expected to be completed before the winter break. If the deal is sealed, Leipzig needs to deal with his unusual release clause, that is to pay the €25 million as a transfer fee in full within two weeks after it is activated.
Szoboszlai will be the great addition to Leipzig as he is a versatile attacking midfielder who could play as a winger and second striker. He has earned 12 caps for his national team and scored 3 goals so far.
Still related to Arsenal, their Spanish boss, Mikel Arteta, is only given three matches by their chiefs to save his own future. It has been reported that after the defeat in North London derby last weekend, Arsenal management started to lose their patience and warned the former Pep Guardiola assistant to bounce back while hosting Burnley and Southampton plus travelling to Goodison Park to take on Arteta’s former club, Everton.
In the meantime, The Gunners is already eyeing for Arteta’s replacement. He is the former Juventus and Milan boss, Max Allegri. The Italian manager who has been without a job after resigning from La Vecchia Signora. He was the key figure while leading AC Milan winning their last Serie A title in 2011 plus 4 titles with Juventus and reaching UEFA Champions League final twice in 2015 and 2017. On the paper, he seems to be right man to lead the Londoners to their glory days.
