In United States, the final series in the NHL playoffs between Tampa and Dallas has ended.

Scoring with the efforts of Point and Coleman in the first and second halves, Tampa secured a 4-2 victory in the final series and won the Stanley Cup for the second time in their history. The Lightning first won the Stanley Cup in 2004.

Tampa’s canadian forward Point has scored his 14th goal in the NHL playoffs this year and became the playoff’s top scorer, one goal ahead of Dallas forward Joe Pavelski.

“Once you get to the playoffs, the difference in talent between the teams is minimal. It really does come down to resiliency. Taking advantage of the breaks that you get along the way, and overcoming the ones that go against you,” said Lightning GM Julien BriseBois. “Once you have a good enough team to get into the playoffs, it comes down to who is going to find a way.”
