Two local rivals from Seville, Real Betis and Sevilla are battling for the last UCL place till the last round. They are separated by five points with two games left in Spanish La Liga.

After clinching Copa Del Rey title recently, Real Betis are setting the bar for the higher target, playing in the Champions League next season. Their hope is alive mainly because of Sevilla's degrading form. Julen Lopetegui's men have been winless in their last three fixtures whereas Joaquin Sanchez and Co managed to pick up three points in the midweek.

While travelling to Valencia, Betis snatched 3-0 win over Los Ches. William Jose opened the scoreline, followed by Sergio Canales' and Borja Iglesias' goal in the final three minutes. They are now sitting on the fifth with 61 points. Unfortunately, the day after Sevilla blew their own opportunity to seal the UCL ticket after mustering a goalless draw at home against the relegation struggler, Mallorca. Lucas Ocampos and Co are still on the top four and have collected 66 points.

The tricky part is about to begin this weekend for both sides' final two games. Sevilla would have to take on Atletico Madrid on the road before hosting Athletic Bilbao. They could be held in ties again considering their disappointing form plus the fact that Los Rojiblancos and Bilbao are certainly tough oppositions.

At the same time, Betis could clear the gap from their local rival as they only host Granada on the weekend. Yet, their final match is intriguing since Manuel Pellegrini's side needs to face off Madrid in Bernabeu.
