Matchday 24 could be a decisive milestone in Serie A this season as the three-horse title race is revitalised after Milan thumped Inter last weekend.

AC Milan could finally reignite the title race in the weekend. Their 2-1 victory over Inter Milan has closed their gap to only one point. The game, however, was intense as usual. Nerrazurri took the lead through Ivan Perisic’s header at the first half. Yet, the table was turning at the second half as Rossonerri had more attempts. They could finally break the deadlock as Olivier Giroud found the back of the net. The Frenchman even scored his brace to give them the necessary win. Simone Inzaghi’s men are still leading the table and have one game in hand. However, their mentality will be tested as the title race has just began. Hakan Calhanoglu and Co will have to take on to Napoli on the road next weekend whereas Milan is only playing host to Il Samp.

They are now sitting second in the standings collecting the same points as Stefano Pioli’s side confirming the return of the three-horse race which was potentially seen earlier this season. Juventus, on the other hand, has been slowly approaching the top three. Max Allegri’s men sealed a 2-0 win against Verona at home. Their new signings, Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria, netted in their debut which surely marks their positive arrival in Turin. La Vecchia Signora is still seven points adrift from Milan on the third,
