The World Rally Championship is one of the most interesting sporting events in the racing world due to its difficulty. Gil Membrado, a 14-year-old Spanish runner, participated in the last race held in Estonia.
Gil became the youngest driver to participate in the World Rally Championship thanks to the particular regulations used in Estonia. For all other championship races, you must be a minimum of 18 years old.
During the race, Gil was in contention for second place but was unable to finish due to a car problem. Still, in interviews, he mentioned how happy he was to have competed with his idols for the entire race. This driver is likely to have a great future in competition once he is old enough; we just have to wait.
