Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has received the 2019/20 NBA Most Valuable Player award, according to insider Adrian Wojnarovski.
The Greek forward received the MVP award for the second time in a row.
The 25-year-old Antetokounmpowas also voted 19/20 Defensive Player of the Year and became the third player in NBA history to achieve both titles in the same season. Previously, only Michael Jordan and Hakim Olajuwon managed to do this.
The Bucks finished the regular season in 1st place in the Eastern Conference (56 wins and 17 losses) but ended the season by losing to Miami in the second playoff round (1-4 in streak).
In the 19/20 season, Giannis recorded 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 block shots per game.
