Due to international conflicts in Ukraine, the FIA announced on Tuesday that it will allow Russian drivers to continue participating in their races. However, such drivers must use the FIA flag and will not be allowed to use symbols or colors of their countries.
On the other hand, the Russian teams will not be able to compete in any tournament and all races scheduled in this country have been suspended until further notice. This was announced by the president of the FIA Mohamed Ben Sulayem.
This is one of the clear examples of how the war in Ukraine has affected international sports such as Formula 1. For example, the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi, which was announced a few days ago, was suspended and will probably be replaced by another location.
